Things to do in Sydney

List of Sydney’s exciting and daring excursions

There’s literally thousands of things to do in Sydney so deciding what to do can be the tricky part. To save being overwhelmed by the countless options and rescue you from reading countless guide books, blogs and social media posts, we have tapped into our inside local knowledge and created a comprehensive list of Sydney’s best and most enjoyable activities and excursions, both day and night.

We will cover all avenues from educational activities to entertaining excursions, relaxing and healthy to sporty or adrenaline busting. We list our favourite water activities on Sydney’s beautiful beaches and bays, city and coastal walks - long and short, live theatre and music venues, sporting events and our blockbuster games.

Explore Sydney’s unique urban wineries, a craft brewery or food truck. Discover Sydney’s multicultural cuisines on a cooking class, discover our cafe scene, and buzzing restaurants.

Artsy? Then check out our slick museums, or walk the walk in Sydney’s designer fashion shopping strips or factory outlets.

As you will see there’s plenty to do in Sydney and endless ways to ‘smell the roses’ and spend a bit of personal time - hopefully between one or two of our tours! So let us know if you need us to take you to any of these places as we would love to join you and show you our backyard. If there’s anything you feel we may have missed out or any specific interests that we have missed please don’t hesitate to contact us for some information.

Plan ahead - Sydney has a lot of traffic and parking can be quite difficult and expensive at the best of times so I recommend always leaving earlier than anticipated. Things also tend to sell out quite fast in Sydney so pre-booking is also strongly recommended.

START THE DAY WITH A SUNRISE YOGA SESSION AT BONDI BEACH FOLLOWED BY BREAKFAST AND A HALF DAY TOUR OF BONDI

We had a great time in Centennial Park on a bike ride that Ben recommended. Our family of 4 easily fit in the purpose built bikes. It’s an easy and flat ride and we rode around the entire park in 30 minutes.

We are quite adventurous and wanted to do something on the water so Ben recommended kayaking on Sydney Harbour. He took us there in the morning and afterwards took us to lunch in Manly and a tour of the northern beaches of Sydney. Thanks Ben!
